Carvy works from what you actually experience, a noise, a smell, a warning light, a symptom, with no scanner or hardware required, and explains it in plain English. For everyday issues that never trigger a fault code at all, an OBD scanner has nothing to read, but Carvy can still help.
No. Carvy works entirely from your phone. You describe what you hear, see, or feel, and Carvy figures out what it means. Apps like FIXD, Carly, and Carista all require a Bluetooth OBD dongle (typically £30 to £60 extra) before they can read your car. Carvy needs none of that. Just type your symptom and get your answer.
